Super nice staff, clean, and amazing food. Best soul food I had in waco thus far in my 2 years of living here! Chicken waffles, catfish basket, oxtails and chicken fried steak was amazing!!! I didn't get a chance to take a picture of the food it was that good! Omg I will be back in the near future. Prices weren't crazy over priced either!!

First time I stopped in they were sold out of food. Owner was nice and gave me a peach cobbler, which was so amazing, I had to come back.. second visit I made sure to come at opening. I ordered the pork steak and each side they had to offer, and the catfish basket. The food was hot and fresh, well seasoned, and reminded me of mom's home cooking. Everything was very very good. I would recomend this restaurant to anyone looking for an authentic soul food spot.. this is comfort food at its best... 5 stars.
